Your Mission: As a Sales Manager at Mergeport, you will be a key player in driving the success of our innovative product range in the field of add-on software for POS systems. Your primary responsibility will be to expand our customer base by selling our cutting-edge solutions to POS developers and POS merchants in the hospitality industry.

Your Role

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and company objectives.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, build strong relationships, and provide them with tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to understand product features and benefits thoroughly, enabling you to present compelling value propositions to potential customers.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance our brand presence and generate new leads.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations that showcase the benefits of our solutions.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Provide regular sales reports and performance updates to the management team.


  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the tech industry or software solutions sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients effectively.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tools to manage leads and customer interactions efficiently.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and POS systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
