activate:

Step 1

LICENSE

Activate a MERGEPORT restaurant in the MERGEPORT controller. After saving, note the “API KEY”

Supported Order Types

The integration currently supports delivery and pickup orders. Table and dine-in orders are handled entirely within the Ordernova POS ecosystem and are therefore not processed through Mergeport.

Status Updates

Ordernova sends at minimum the acceptedByPOS status. In addition, depending on the provider and the available possibleStateChanges, the system also processes and sends further supported statuses such as fetchedByPOS, ready, pickedUp / inDelivery, and delivered.

Only statuses explicitly provided and allowed by Mergeport via possibleStateChanges are used. No custom or unsupported status values are sent.

Delivery Time Adjustments

At the moment, Ordernova does not actively send delivery time adjustments (timeChange) from the POS. This functionality can be added later if required for live customer operations or specific provider workflows.

Handling of Items without posItemId

Orders containing items without a mapped posItemId are still imported and displayed in the POS system. Such items are treated as provider/free-text positions to ensure that operational workflows are not blocked by missing mappings.

Additional Charges & Discounts

Add-ons, delivery fees, discounts, and tips are processed and displayed within the POS as long as they are included in the Mergeport payload.

Discounts are currently handled on an order level, as they are not delivered as position-specific discounts according to the current Mergeport payload structure.
